What is Crowdfunding?
Many businesses such as Peloton, Oculus VR, and PopSockets used crowdfunding when they were in their startup stage. Crowdfunding is an innovative way for startups and growing businesses to source funds for new projects or business ideas. This type of funding is similar to borrowing from a bank, the main difference is that instead of receiving funding from just one institution, startups will be backed by many investors. Those who invest in Circles will receive a return on their investment (similar to buying stocks), along with a reward depending on the amount invested.
Why Should You Invest in Circles?
Circles is the first chain of boutique co-living and co-working houses for entrepreneurs and self-starters. As of now, our only home is located in Barcelona, Spain; however, our plan is to expand globally and open one or two new homes each year. In the next few years, we would like to open a Circles house in Madrid, Valencia, Milan, and Tulum.
The first Circles house has already proven to be a success within the first 8 months of our launch date. Our team and our current members living here believe in our vision and now it is time to expand the Circles community around the globe. We want our supporters and others who believe in our vision to join us on our next step and be a part of this journey. By the end of next year, we hope to have our next two homes up and running. We are inspired by the quote "happiness is only real, when shared," (Christopher McCandless), which is why having this campaign is important to us.
Rewards for Investors
Rewards and equity depend on how much is initially invested. Investors will receive favorable perks, ranging from a discounted membership to 12 months of free stays at any of the Circles locations. Low stake investors who invest anywhere between €50-250 can use half of their investment as credit for their stay at Circles. Those who invest more than €250 will receive a discounted yearly membership along with credit for their stay. Investors who put in more than €1,000 will receive a lifetime membership and will be able to use half of their investment for their stay. An investment of €5,000 or above will be rewarded with a 1-month stay at any Circles location and a free lifetime membership. An investment of €10,000 and above will be rewarded with a 3-month stay at any Circles location and a free lifetime membership. Lastly, investments of more than €25,000 will be rewarded with a 12 months of free stays at any Circles location along with a free lifetime membership. Please note that investments of any size come with equity as well.

Co-living is a rapidly growing industry which is expected to be valued at €550 billion in Europe over the next 10 years. With more jobs moving to a remote setting, workers are opting to travel and gain new experiences instead of staying in their home city. While some choose to rent apartments or stay in hotels, more digital nomads are beginning to choose co-living homes because they want to meet new people and be part of a community. In the first half of 2022, investment in the co-living industry increased to €433 million, almost 5 times higher than the previous year's investments. This shows that people believe in the success of co-livings. Without a doubt, co-living is expected to have an exponential increase over the next decade.
